Swimming is a well-known sport which has its roots in Britain during the period of 1830 were it was part of the Olympic games in the year 1986. Swimming was taken a serious sports after a lot of people had interest on the game at first the only swimming style used was the breaststroke
The funny thing about swimming is that animals are naturally born with swimming ability naturally but the complexity comes to human beings who they need to learn so that one can be able to swim perfectly and not drown in the water and that is why many people are afraid of water and practising swimming activity
People ask question why should they learn to swim?  The answer to this question is “YES!” everybody should learn how to swim for the sake of safety leaving behind the fact that is a sport but also everybody should learn swimming since it’s a good physical exercise  to conduct, since ones all body parts work together and making them physical fit.
Most doctors agree that swimming is a healthy form of exercise. It requires you to use many of the muscles in your body, is for building strength and endurance and is beneficial for your metabolism and your cardiovascular. The water provides a natural resistance when your swimming .While also making the activity strenuous on your body. Water in most cases, also provides a natural cooling element or the body.
The following are some of the importance and benefit of swimming to human beings, these are as follows. First, the psychological benefits of swimming arewhen one has a swim session in a pool there he or she relaxes the mind, uplifts the spirit and its also often an occasion for social contact.
Secondly, for one to be able to swim can be able to attain several jobs such as life guards, fisherman and professional divers. Also being able to swim will open up a lot of recreational possibilities that would not be safe to practise if one doesn’t know how to swim these are like; surfing and boat fishing.
The best exercise to burn up calories in the body easy and reduce up the body quickly is the swimming exercise, the work out itself can help you to burn up all over 800 calories per hour for the laps you will take during a normal swimming.
